It’s official!
I am a mother-in-law.
Sunday, April 23rd, 2023, our oldest son, Caleb, married his beautiful bride, Crystal.
Yes, this is the same Caleb who barely survived the accident that took our youngest son Jacob’s life in 2015. People were blown away by the testimonies they shared about the role that the accident played in their meeting, falling in love, and choosing to spend life together.
I am so proud of each of them.
And now, this Mother’s Day, I have a brand new daughter-in-law to cherish along with our beloved son, Caleb.
God is so good, friend. 🙂
I’ve had many ask me for pictures so, without further ado, here are some. Just keep in mind that the professional pics aren’t back yet, so these are from good old cell phones.

I just finished reading the book God Prints. WOW. For me the most compelling part of the book was not whether you have experienced tragic loss or had cancer but that you have ever experienced the struggles of the walk of a Christian you can relate to Jenny, feel the “feels” and know you are not alone. It was a great read and I HIGHLY recommend it.
Thank you so much for the kind words, Valerie! I’m so glad that our family’s story encouraged you and reminded you that you are not alone, no matter what you find yourself facing in this life!
