Hi there, friends!

First, an apology…

I just wanted to say that I’m sorry for the radio silence lately. Some of you may already know this, but our home was completely flooded during Hurricane Ian on September 29th. We spent almost two months in a hotel while renovating our house and were able to move back in the week of Thanksgiving.

That, combined with the soft launch of GodPrints, has made for quite a busy few months. But thank God we are back in our home safe and sound and pretty much done with the renovations.

Now for the exciting news!

This year would’ve been Jacob’s 25th birthday on November 25th and we strategically released GodPrints that day in his honor and memory. Thank you to everyone for your love and support of the launch. I appreciate it so much!

But there was also another exciting event that day. Our son, Caleb, proposed to his girlfriend Crystal and…

she said yes!

So stay tuned for more details as they begin wedding preparations.

And lastly, for those of you that may be struggling with grief and loss during this busy holiday season…

The holidays can make it even harder when everyone around is full of happiness and cheer.

Maybe you’re still trying to find your footing because you’re reeling from a recent loss.

Or maybe your loved one’s absence is even more pronounced right now because they enjoyed this time of year so much.

Whatever the reason, if you find yourself discouraged, down and out, or just needing some fresh strategies on how to navigate forward in these next few weeks, then I want to share something that I recently discovered in hopes it might help.

I was listening to a new-to-me podcast for those that are grieving. The episodes I have listened to so far have been spot-on and very helpful. Their website also has loads of information and it appears that they have trained some of the nation’s most well-known and respected grief counseling centers.

They recently released this four-page tip sheet for navigating forward through the holidays. The excellent suggestions are worth sharing with you, so here it is if you’re interested: DC-Holiday-Tips-and-Worksheet

And now, just one more thing and I’ll let you go… Promise!

It’s really a reminder for you to hold close to your heart this month:

You’re not alone on this journey. We’re walking right here with you on this road.

Well, to be honest, sometimes we’re able to walk. Sometimes we’re even able to run.

Other times, we barely have enough oomph to crawl along.

But at least we’re moving forward, friend.

On the road to hope and happiness with you,

Jenny
